Questions about the CD included with Secrets of 5-Axis Machining
The CD does not automatically start when inserted into my computer’s CD drive. How can I get it to play?
If the CD’s autorun feature does not work, use your Windows Explorer to navigate to the CD drive. Double-click on the CD drive and locate the file called index.html. Double-click on that file and the presentation should start.
The interface is too large for my computer’s screen and I can’t see everything. What can I do to make it fit the screen?
The CD has been built for a resolution of 1024 x 768. If your screen resolution is set to a resolution lower than this, the interface will be too large to be fully viewed. In order to view the entire interface, reset your Windows resolution to a minimum of 1024 x 768.
Some of the videos are not running for me, why?
You may need the Quicktime plug-in to view some of the videos. This is a free plug-in and can be downloaded here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Why can’t I open and view the Quick Reference Guides?
The Quick Reference Guides are in PDF format and require the Adobe Acrobat reader. This reader can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2_allversions.html
